Hello dear friends! Today I would like to share a few paintings from my favorite artist KIM JACOBS. We have loved her art at the cozy cottage for almost 20 years now. We have her books she has written and her calendars each year. Post cards and puzzles delight us to no end. Her whimsical watercolors instantly make us sigh and dream with our eyes open. Not the tiniest detail is overlooked in her minds eye. Each time we look at a painting, we see something else hidden somewhere. I am going to host a small tea party this CAT ART SUNDAY and I want ALL of you to come back and meet KIM JACOBS here on my blog. She has very graciously RSVP'd to come to tea and meet you. I am over the moon happy about that. KIM has written a new book ~COTTAGE CATS My Companions on the Path to Joy~ and I will be featuring it. You can also click the link for a preview if you can't wait for Sunday's tea time. Mommy will definitely add this volume to our collection and we hope you will too. At under $15, it is a very affordable treasure. Kim will autograph it purrrrsonaly for you...she told me so.
These last two pages are from the Cottage Cats book....

These are gorgeous paintings - I especially like the first one. I clicked through to Kim's website and her art is wonderful - thanks so much for sharing it!
Wow, what a talented artist! Though I did note the lack of Abyssinian cats in her pictures... Being a modest type, I'm quite willing to pose for her you know! ;)

Dear Peachiekins, I love these sorts of paintings, the intricate and sweet details. Kind of reminds me of brambly Hedge artist, Jill Barklem... we LOVE her art work too. Kim Jacobs is wonderful!
I love the photo of you sniffing the pond. How sweet.
I hope you have sunshine today. Here we have a lot of sun!

This is my kind of book. She is a wonderful artist! I will have to look for that book when I get to the bookstore again.
I'm so sorry I haven't been by in a while Miss Peach and Mommy Karla. I have just not been feeling well at all.
I hope everything is happy and sunny at the Cozy Cottage. How are the wedding plans going?
