MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

CRASHED UP COLE!

WE INTERUPT CAT ART SUNDAY TO BRING YOU THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE: Oh today is the first day of winter and my grandbean Cole went sledding with his daddy. His sled veered off course and he slammed into a dugout, flew off the sled and broke his wrist while shielding his head. OH NO how is he going to hold me now? He went to the bean vet place by red truck with flashing lights and this evening they operated on his paw and reset the wrist. Cole has been such a trooper through all of this, thanking everyone for their care that helps him. That is why I love him so much becasue he is sweet and considerate of others. The beans spend the evening watching The Bee Movie, Kangaroo Jack and The Goonies. He was able to eat jello and later a turkey sandwich. He finally got to go home at 11:00 pm and we are tired too. It is snowing buckets here...we have 12 inches and more on the way. The pass to the west side of the state is closed and the interstate to Portland also in places... To really complicate my worry factor even more...tomorrow Cole and his mommies family are heading to Seattle to catch a Monday flight to Florida to visit his other grandparents in Coco Beach!! I wish they were not going. His daddy got tickets to the Seahawks~NY Giants football game for tomorrow and they were going to fly up to Seattle as part of his Christmas surprise, then meet his mommy after the game. Not going to happen...we will not even tell Cole about the tickets so he will not feel bad about Daddy's surprise not coming off. Needless to say this could have been a lot worse than a broken wrist and we are very thankful is wasn't. The Hospital said they get at least one sledder in each year from that hill...Cole is more upset that he can not play basketball with his team for the rest of the season. I wish I could have gone to the bean vet place but they do not let cats in there...I think that is a stupid rule! I hope all of you are safe and warm through the winter storms! I hope I have enough stinky goodness to last it out...do I mommy? You better go to the store and stock up!!

We're glad it wasn't more serious than a broken wrist, which is quite enough damage! What a day for all of you.

Hope you have a warm, cozy Sunday.

Little boys heal fast! Our boy had two broken wrists at once when he was in first grade. He also broke his femur twice and was intraction & a body cast both times. He had juvenile osteoporosis but he's 20 now & hasn't broken a bone for a long time.
Feel better soon, Cole!

Poor Cole! I had a hurt paw once and had to go to the vet, but it wasn't broken and they didn't have to do all that stuff to it--he is furry brave!

If he comes down to Cocoa Beach, do not worry. We are Florida kittehs and it is furry safe here. There is no snow or ice to slip on! I know you will miss him, tho. Thanks for visitin' our giveaway. Maybe you can win for your beans and that will make Cole not feel so sad about missing that basketbally stuff!

Holy shamolies! Pore little beanman! How dare they not let you visit him, Miss Peach? You have to purr on him and the good vibrations will help him heal quickly. I did that for mom when she brokened her leg/ankle and she said it helped her get better fast.

Sending our purrs & hugs,

How very scary! We guess it is better to break his wrist than to crack his head! He was smart to protect himself as best he could! Glad he is home and we hope it heals quickly!

Oh my goodness Miss Peach, poor Cole... I have worked out a way for him to hold you though, even with a broken wrist! He just needs one of those sling things for you to cuddle up in like they use for blurpies! :) Now that's sorted I'm sure your Momma will have stocked up on stinky goodness for you. If not I think we have about 4 months supply for 3 very hungry cats here if you wanna come on over for a feast. Oh and My Mummy's bought us a biggly special treat for KissMouse Day, she's bought a mix of pheasant, partridge and rabbit and is going to cook it all up for us and set it in a cat shaped jelly mould so we're going to be very well fed here over KissMouse! :)

Purrs,
Ramses
