MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

SEASONS ON MONDAY...

Autumn brings cozy times inside the house warm on a blanket....I dream of my favorite tree and remember the past year...

There is no tree quite like the Dogwood for beauty and interest through out the seasons. This is Cherokee Daybreak and it is planted center stage in front of my living room window! This has been a good year with much to be thankful for...hopes fullfilled, wishes turned blessings, miracles granted, prayers answered. I am still here...the best of all things!

~Trees~

I THINK that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree.

Joyce Kilmer. 1886–1918 fell in battle France WWII A forest is named in his honor in beautiful western North Carolina...a land of enchantment

Dear Miss Peach, what is even nicer than a lovely tree?! Yes, a lovely tree with a squirrel in it and that's what we found on Sunday here after years of purring for a squirrel of our very own! :)

Hey Miss Peach! The font on your blog looks great! But those trees are so beautiful! My Mommy loves to take me for a walk through the leaves & we get to look at all the trees!

Trees are wonderful as they give birds a place to sit and sing.

I like dinner music...

Oh Miss Peach thank you so much for the lovely tribute to Bounce! It made all our eyes leak!

We have many trees in our yard and love them all. Mom is very protective over our trees. Sometimes squirrels are in the trees chattering to us when we are on the deck. It is nice to visit with them, they always have such intersting stories to tell. They eat the peanuts we leave for them and then say thank you!

We love you Miss Peach!

Oh, what a lovely poem to read before I tuck Toeshee in and go to bed! Your Dogwood is beautiful in all seasons. So are you dear Karla and Miss Peach.
My heart is lighter tonight because I talked to you! The gentle voice of a friend is a balm for a weary soul.
Good night sweeties!
Love,
Lorianna
