MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

MEET MY UNCLE JOE ON MANCAT MONDAY!

Today I would like to honor my Uncle Joe by featuring him on MANCAT Monday. He is the coolest MANCAT I know!!! Over the years that he has been an animal control officer, he has saved hundreds of cats and dogs. Creatures of all kinds own him their lives including this lizard he found in someones garden. Being an animal rescue officer is his dream job because he loves animals so much. More than once during a holiday dinner his phone would ring and he would get up from the table, put on his jacket, and go off into the cold dark night to help some animal in need. Do you remember the kitty Fiona (click here to read her story?) Doesn't she look like my beautiful sister Marilyn with her jewel colored eyes? Fiona is over four years old now.She was a tiny white kitten that fit into the palm of his hand when he brought her to my house. Waiting here were her new beans who wanted to take her on an adventure all over the world on their boat. She has been up into the San Juan Islands all along the Pacific coastline, lived in San Diego and spent a year in Sea of Cortez, Mexico being a pirate kitty! Now she lives in Wasilla Alaska...all this because my Uncle Joe rescued her.

I know this all sounds like a happy story, but it is not. You see, my beloved Uncle Joe had to give up his job saving animals because he now has to save himself. He has cancer and will face surgery next week. I beg all of you to please pray and purrrrr with all your might that he will recover his strength and beat this dreaded illness. Please leave any encouraging comments for him on my post and I will see that he gets to read them all. I know they will cheer him so much...we are all so sad and worried but hopeful, because he is young and has so much to look forward to in his life.

Our mom is so busy the last days, she had to do a lot of homework and clean up. She says it must be better or she will go back to Italy for vacations.
Now she is a little sad because we must celebrate the beanboys 17th birthday without him. He is in London.

I think your Uncle Joe and my Daddy would get along great!

Please include our encouragement to your Uncle Joe. Mom has had cancer twice and, by the Lord's grace, has beaten it both times. Treatments continue to become more sophisticated and now there are meds to help control the side effects to the treatments. We will purray for him and ask our family to add him to their purrayer lists.
