MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

TENDER TOUCHING THURSDAY!

Yesterday I made a break through with Hunny Bunny! She let me pet her while she was eating chunks of turkey I gave her on the deck. That thrilled me so when she gave me her trust. Then she put a big chunk of turkey in her mouth and ran off. Again she came back and same thing...grab and go. So I watched her do it once more and followed her at a distance around the garden shed and saw her jump over the fence into the yard right next door! She ran to a crawl space and out popped three adorable kittens!!! She dropped the chunk for the kittens to eat...they were so hungry so I went to get more, grab the camera and snapped these photos through a knothole. Now I know she is a good mommy cat to bring her kittens food. I wonder if she will bring the kittens into our garden by and by? Hunny Bunny is so pretty and her fur snow white, so clean and soft. I love petting her. I am sure she is a stray though and will need to be spayed along with her boyfriend Buddy! This is the right and necessary thing to do for them! We called our VET and asked about the cost of this ECTOMY for them and it will be spendy. $110 for Buddy and $140 for Hunny Bunny...that is more than I have in my piggy bank right now. Lapdaddy promised to make something to auction off and I will make some nice kitty jewelry. Together we can do this...these beautiful cats deserve a good life free from kittens. So stay tuned for some real cool auctions to come your way next week.

They are absolutely adorable and so beautiful! It is so good to you to feed them and to plan to get them fixed! Does your area have a lost-cost Spay/Neuter clinic? Many cities or counties have one, and the prices are much less than you pay at a vet. It may be something to look into.

You are an angel!

Dearest Miss Peach,
thank you for accepting our challenge! I deleted your comment as it is of course crucial to KEEP YOUR DARE A SECRET for the whole thing to work! I listed an email address where to send your dare - in your case I just listed it and also went ahead and put you in the Linky box.
But now I am wondering if maybe my instructions where too hard to understand? In which case I will have to change the wording of my post? Please let me know...

As for you post:
they are adorable! Ask your local Humane Society if they'd give you a group rate. Also a freind of our maid has strays spayed and neutered all the time and she gets a special rate for this from the local VET - any VET with some kind of sense would do the procedure for cost, you'd think....
And then we could do a fundraiser at the CB, I am sure we all would help!

Oh Karla and Miss Peach, kittens too? how wonderful! Their beautiful mommy made beautiful babies. Is Buddy their daddy? our VET is expensive too. I hope you can work it out so everyone is "fixed" and has happy homes before winter. I know you won't let them face the cold. :) See, your home and yard is a haven for all creatures great and small and you are a blessing to them all!
don't worry Miss Peach, they won't invade your cozy cottage and maybe if Honey Bunny and her babies did, Mommy Karla would keep them in a separate room. That's my trick. ;)
I love you and think of you often during my too busy and not feeling well days. Sending Hugs to you and your sweet new kitties,
Lorianna

To Miss Peach from Auntie Stinkie:
My Dear Miss Peach,
We are waiting for your auction, because Dr Tweety is going to let me have a few green papers from mommy's itty bitty greens business to send to you. Of course, mommy does not know about our plans, but I think she should agree this is a good place to spend them.
I am wondering if you will come over for my Bed-In while mommy is busy this weekend. I could use your help while Dr Tweety has his Hair-a-thon.
Your friend,
Auntie Stinkie

Those are some cute kittens! Why won't that vet fix those strays for free? & put them up for adoption? Or at least give you a discount because they are not yours? You know that is so sweet of you to take out of your pocket & take care of that kitty family! Are you their human angel? My Mommy is mine, I believe all animals have human angels who protect them from the dangerous world.

The babies are adorable. However, we know that we can't let kitties keep breeding without a forever home to take care of them. We hope you can get the help you need to fix the mom and dad.

Dear sister Miss Peach,
First I like to thank you for your always sweetest words after Maxime went to the Bridge. Like us she was so much enjoying your visit and I was happy she finally found a new friend for "girl talk".
We still miss her terribly but are comforted by so many very dear friends, and the knowledge Max is with her brother Ralph, her Mom Chrissie and other family and furriends who went before her.

Miss Peach, you and your Mom and Lapdaddy have beautiful hearts to help this stray family. The kittens are adorable, but which kitten is not...? And of course we also will do what we can to help you help Buddy, Hunny Bunny and their babies!!

Such a beautiful family, and it was only a matter of time before Hunny Bunny realized she was dining at the home of a kind and caring human. Sorry it is stressing out Miss Peach, though.
