MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

FINALLY FRIDAY FUN AND FRUSTRATING!!!

Lapdaddy brought the mail in today and guess what? WE GOT IT!!!! They gave us the Backyard Wildlife Habitat Certification for the Cozy Cottage garden!

Oh it is a most beautiful plaque we can put on out gate...and the certificate says MISS PEACH's COZY COTTAGE.

I think that is the most special thing that has happened around here since I can out of the frying pan!! Even the heavens were happy because they sent some rain to celebrate.

So much rain that we had to feed the garden visitor under Lapdaddies newly painted 1941 Ford fender to keep him dry. Yes it was a good day today.
Mommy had some 'Be Happy' tea that Bonnie & Nicki's mommy sent her from Germany to help her tummy.
Last night she had a long bubble bath with nice smelly rose stuff the Luna's mommy sent her from Germany. Life would be good if the mean cutter bugs would not have chopped off mommies prized sum & substance hosta at the base!!! This has never happened in 18 years gardening here! But that is not as bad as what the chompin beetles did to Dr. Tweety's mommies micro greens two days before harvest!!! This is a bad year for the Pacific northwest produce wise...our tomatoes are still green and tiny and no cucumbers yet! We will just have to try harder to beat the bugs! That is difficult to do in an organic garden.....

Oh Miss Peach, congratulations for your certificate. That´s great!
So nice to see that you use the rose bubble for a bath, Karla.
What are these bugs in your garden, are they like our snails?

We have here sad times, because our nice Frieda was killed by a car on wednesday and we miss her so much.We can´t realize that.
Steffen found her on the street to the fields, he cried and cried so much.
I helped him to make a grave for Frieda with flowers, toys and candles.

What good news that is. Your garden is so beautiful, I'm sure all the wildlife in the area buzz about it to each other.

Neelix isn't doing too well. He has continued to lose weight and the V.E.T. doesn't know why. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Our Mom has sum & substance hosta too. But hers are bothered by slugs & visus deers!

THAT IS A WONDERFUL HONOR!!!!! We wish we could come see your habitat!

Someone needs to creat an organic bugkiller.

And that is very nice of you to share your food with the garden visitor.

Hi Miss Peach, nice to meet you. Are you a devon or cornish rex? Josh lives with Connie who is a sphynx, think they have similar personalities.

I like the look of your garden visitor, he looks very sweet.

We love your plaque and it's a perfect name.

We read about your friend Frieda on CB and stopped over to leave her a message. That is sad!

How wonderful that you got approved as a Backyard Sanctuary. We hope your backyard visitor cat didn't get too wet in the rain. We also hope your mommy's tummy feels better soon.

It seems to be a bad year for vegetables here in the South too.

Our tomatoes were stunted, our squash died we barely got two quarts out of it. Buggies ate our cucumbers, the MS pink peas did OK but not great. All in all we maybe broke even with the garden although we suspect we put more money into it then we got food out of it. ~S, S & C
