HOPE.....

Ever since we found that Hunny Bunny had 3 little mites we have been worried about them all.

Now we have a glimmer of HOPE and HOPE the phone rings soon. The ladies from POPP are going to help work out a plan for us to help them. POPP stands for Pet Over Population Prevention. They are a wonderful local rescue group of volunteer animal lovers and have rehomed 478 animals in 2007!
I know Hunny Bunny is a very special cat who trusts me...I pray I do not disappoint her...

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY.....almost

This was mommies favorite coffee mug...she broke the handle off...now it is a cat food scoop. Can you see Hunny Bunny with her electric blue eyes on it?

She really does look just like it...complete with a Madame Pierre Ronsard!Lapdaddy moved out one fence picket so we can entice the mites over to begin solid food. As of today, it is working. They still run when we approach, but tiny kittens steps at a time is how we hope to get them tame.

Hunny Bunny is such a good mommy. She lets the mites eat before she even considers taking one bite for herself. I took these photos through the window to the side yard.

Please purrrrrr for my special friend TEXAS as he is not doing very well with his battle...this is so hard to go through for him and his family. We love you and send our best prayers...

TOTALLY TUCKERED OUT TUESDAY!

I like my new velvet covered cushion so much. Mommy made it's cover from a shirt she bought at Goodwill...she loves to recycle things. Did you know that I am a recycled cat? Anyway, back to the cushion. The first night the foam was too wide to fit the shelf very well. When I woke up, I walked to the edge and the cushion tipped off. I fell into the litter girls room below. Gosh how awful! Mommy then trimmed the foam to fit the shelf and I have not come down off of it, except to eat of course! I like it because it is pretty, warm and very soft...kinda like me! I wonder if mommy will ever run out of places for me to sleep in, at, or on? Tell me where you love to sleep best....

Today I want to show you a very special artwork. This piece touches my heart in so many ways. It is made by Billie's mommy Lorianna from Twilight's Muse. She loves to make artwork even when her hands are giving her painful days. If you look close, there are faeries with stardust...butterflies holding court on the blue leather paper...and do you see Mickey Moonshine and me?

When someone makes you something special, they put their heart into it because they love you. I am a lucky cat to be so loved. Thank you Lorianna for the 'Faerie Kitty' page....I am getting such a nice scrapbook together thanks to so many of you.

If you look close at my furs, you can see how clean and pretty it is. I just had a bath:( To console me, mommy gave me another NEW place to sleep...a three inch velvet covered cushion. I think this is a bribe because of Hunny Bunny and the rest of that furry clan!...OK I like it! I wish all of you a beautiful Sunday full of love and sweet tiny moments.

A BED IN AT AUNTIE STINKIE'S HOUSE TODAY!

Today we senior kitties are taking a time out for a BED~IN at Auntie Stinkie's house. Dr. Tweety will be up to some mischief too I was told! So I better bring my sticky roller sheets with me...Don't we look ready for this, my Mickey Moonshine and I?

TODAY IS HUG A CAT DAY!!! FOR MU SHUE KING CAT...our hero!

Mu shue pooh king cat was the the founder of hug another cat day. He once said if we all just open are paws and huged each other the world world be a better place. He also said that If each cat huged five cat we all be hugging in no time. Mu shue passed over to the bridge one mouth ago todayy. We like to honnor him with hug another catday on firday I think we could all uses some hugging. ~lilly lu and iris

Mommy and I were very touched by this message we found posted on the Blogosphere...we will never forget his bravery in the great fire as her saved his sisters...so here is my HUG A CAT photo...this little Cinderella is my Grandbean Ellie Grace. She came to see me tonight and I fell in love with her hugs! Imagine that, me, a cranky old cat laying still and purring on her tiny lap. I went to be with her all on my own with no prompting!! She almost took me home with her...but mommy would miss me so much and not have a cat to hug.
