MOMMY NEEDS SOME HELP TODAY...

I decided to come out of my paper bag today to help mommy with the housework around here. Mommy has a big headache she can not get rid of (Lapdaddy said he is not going anywhere) so I will help her.
We always do laundry on Thursday. Working will help us both with our sadness...

Later we will move this miniature rose bush since it is root bound in the pretty basket now and wash some windows.
Cole will be here after his golf lesson and that will make ALL of us so happy!
I am very sorry that I have not come by to visit so many of you lately. I am going to try something new as you can see from the photos on my sidebar. Being an old cat, I need to make visual connections since I always misplace my reading glasses. I hope you will be patient with me while I try to work on this.
I love each of you and think about you all day long...I want to thank all of you who have encouraged me to come out of the bag...I have slept on top of it all day and it is pretty flattened out right now...

because I am so very sad today...
My beautiful friend TT went to the rainbow bridge yesterday...her kidneys stopped doing their work inside her tiny body. So many kitties have kidney problems, I do too. It just breaks my tiny heart to say goodbye to TT, she was so very special to me. Please go and tell her mommy it is going to be OK...TT dear, your journey is over and you are back in the lap of your forever angel where your journey once began. Your circle of life is complete. We will miss you and never forget about you.

Thank you all for your well wishes on our trip today. All went purrrrfect for Lapdaddy! Even more purrrrfect was the visit to Diana's house with the four month old Sphynx kittens and their mommy Rita. Lapdaddy fell in love with a red Devon boy name Ted E. Bear and mommy fell in love with little One Eyed Jack, who was born without his right eye. Soon all the kittens will be heading for their furrrrever homes so they are so glad to be able to have made this visit today! One will make a very far away trip, all the way to Czechoslovakia! Oh and I have a new sleeping spot to show you tomorrow....

I will be all alone today as the beans travel to Portland. Snoozin out on the patio in the sunshine and dreaming of fine things will occupy my day. At least they will not be bringing home any kittens from Diana's house...only photos of them!

Mommy got these three ATC's this week from her friends...we just love sharing them with you! Cat art rocks don't you think? There is nothing more worth painting or stamping than a cat!!!

Tomorrow we will be going to Portland for Lapdaddies doctor appointment...it will be a very long day...eight hours driving back and forth. The highlight of the day will be visiting with Diana Nelson and seeing the Spyhnx kittens...they are 16 weeks old now and soon will be leaving for new homes. One is going to Europe!!

My Lapdaddy works so hard all day at the jailhouse and then he comes home to requests for rides in the vintage cars....How could he resist your requests? He loves to drive us cats around in the vintage cars and will get around to giving each of you a ride who want to go...but please be patient with him. I need my Lapdaddy time with him too! So today he has a Buick Skylark CYCLOPS that is a concept car from the 1950's full of Meezers to hit the road with...but Bad Blogger stole the car and the Meezers!!! I hope they had plenty of ham in their lunch box. I wonder if they are going to hold them all for ransom!?!??! I sure hope not! I will keep trying to find them....we have never had this problem before, not being able to load a photo...wonder if the Bad Mousies had something to do with this too??

YOU GUYS ARE SKATING ON THIN MICE HERE AT THE COZY COTTAGE!!!

We tried to be nice to the mice...but they will not listen! Mommy found her favorite kitchen carpet all chomped up in one corner...not good thing to do mousies! So we are afraid to tell you that this is warfare on a stepped up level from now on. No more Miss Peach and Mrs Mommy nice ladies anymore!

Yesterday mommy went shopping and brought home this funny little box for the mousie to go inside and eat his peanut butter pretzel cup. A sort of a walk in fast food joint...if you do not leave a tip, you can not get out! Here is a tip for you mousie...GO AWAY!!! Mommy did not buy the chop you itty bitty head off kinda mouse trap....YET! She did bring home a sticky board trap but can't bring herself to really want to use it....YET!! You are forewarned mousie...JUST BEAT IT!

CAT ART SUNDAY...

Today is CAT ART SUNDAY and mommy has been so busy working in her sketchbooks. Somehow so many cat stamps found their way into the artwork, as you can see . They just seemed to fit on to the pre~stamped pages so purrrrfectly. What do you think?
This has been a lazy weekend...mommy stamping away while the Lapdaddy painted the garden shed. The mail lady brought the beautiful drusy pendant I won in the auction from Auntie Deb and ML. I will give it to mommy as a surprise, after she catches that darn mouse...I have been lounging around waiting for some company to come to tea and help mommy catch that darn mouse! Miss Jan from the funny farm is right...I do not need to lower myself at my age to catching mice...so, who will help? The tea kettle is always on....
