Miss SILK
In honor of SCARLETT, I would like to hold a special auction for a kitty who was badly burned and needs lots of love and Vet care to heal from her horrible wounds. Her name is SILK, and this is her story! She is a beautiful gentle tabby girl of 3 years. Found on the streets of Manhattan, a victim of animal cruelty it seems. I am offering one of mommies most favorite Victorian bracelets today. It is made of 8 rose quartz cabs, with swarovski spacers. The closure is a magnetic clasp on this 7.5 inch Victorian beauty. This is a very beautiful bracelet from mommies own collection. I know you will treasure it forever if you win it!! Please leave your bid in the comments until Friday at midnight. This auction will help me celebrate my one year BLOGOVERSARY next week!!!
Oh and one more thing...I came into the parlor last night and sat on mommies lap and on lapdaddies chest for a while...they are happy now! I am back in my IN BOX:)

Oh that's so very purrty Miss Peach! You're such a kind soul to help our poor Silk like this and with your help we'd like to assist. I shall get Mummy right on to finishing off at least one kitty bookmark cross stitch design (chart only) to auction off or sell for this cause. I'm pretty sure she can scan it into a high quality .jpg so the chart can be e-mailed out to winners or buyers your choice. Hello Dear Miss Peach and Mommy Karla. My tummy is very upset and my eyes are leaking many tears for precious Silk. I do not understand. Why do things like this happen to the most innocent among us?

Miss Peach, I knew you would go see mommy and daddy last night! I just had a feeling. Karla, you must have been so happy! Billie sits on my lap sometimes, but she's not a velcro kitty like Tookie was.

Poor Silk! What a beautiful and brave kitty. And you are so caring and thoughtful to do this for her.
That is a beyootiful bracelet, but, mom doesn't wear jewelry very often so we just went to da website and clicked on the donate button. Dat poor kitty, it made mom and dad both cry.
It makes us sick to think anyone could do such a thing to such a sweet kitty. Fortunately it warms are heart to know that there are people like you out there wanting to help.
I'd love to buy my mommy bean thats but sadly, I hads to use the green papers to pay for my icky v-e-t visit last week.
So instead we passed Silks story along via email, with the shelters site url to let folks know of her case.
