MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

THIS IS WHY I AM ALONE MOST WEEKENDS NOW!

I think I should have a part in this play! I can give a very stern look! A good cat is needed in any mystery and I am very photogenic in Black & White...

This is my Lapdaddy playing with all of his friends, pretending to be someone else...

I have to stay home in the cozy cottage each weekend while they are both away...
And Then There Were None
By Agatha Christie

Strangers gathered in a secluded cliff-side house, raging storm, all communications cut, and a murderer on the loose. These are just a few ingredients in Agatha Christies' fiendishly fun mystery.

In a classic Agatha Christie formula, 10 unfamiliar people (AND ONE REAL NICE RED CAT!) of all walks of life are summoned, either as staff or guests, to an isolated summer home on an island only accessible by boat. During cocktail hour of the first evening, a voice comes out of the air accusing each one of the guests and staff of murder—not the kind that is prosecutable—but murder nonetheless. As the guests begin to exchange information on each other and their missing host as a means to figure out what is going on, one of 10 little Indian statuettes placed carefully on the mantelpiece, falls and is shattered. One by one, as predicted by the macabre nursery rhyme that corresponds to the statuettes, an unknown killer murders the guests, leading to a stunning climax and the revelation of a killer amongst them.

Rather than spending the weekend alone Miss Peach, why not come over here and test the kittens' heating pad for them? They are most generous with it and always welcome guests! :)

I wish I could come snuggle with you Miss Peach. But, how fun for Lapdaddy and Mommy Karla! My daughter is helping with the lighting in a play and she really likes the theater environment. I hope there's lots of sunshine at the cozy Cottage this weekend for you. If I were your special Kitty Sitter I would relax in a sunny spot with you. :)

Thank you for visiting us yesterday Miss Peach. We don't know where Soldier Island is, but we were wondering if it was another name for Burgh Island. Agatha Christie went there and wrote several of her books, and we believe it was the setting for "And Then There Were None" It is an island very close to the South Devon coast. When the tide is out, you can walk over to it, but when the tide is in, there was an adapted high tractor type vehicle that could drive through the sea. We don't know if they still use it.If it is the same island, why don't you come and visit us as we are only about 20 miles from there. We could take you to watch your daddy in the play.

We love that play! And your Dad is in it, huh?

But they should not be leaving you alone. Isn't there a cat in it?!

So I don't understand! Your lapdaddy is going to be murdered! That's scary! You should not let him go and leave you alone!

Mom loves Agatha Christie and says that is a very good book.S he hasn't seen a play of it.
We hope you are ok with being alone at the cottage.

We are sorry that you are being left alone. That is not right - shouldn't you be playing the part of the lovely redheaded cat anyway???

Congratulations to your daddy on getting the part.

We are also writing to let you know that you were a runner up in our contest. Would you please e-mail us at taramorse (AT) aol (DOT) com with your address so we can send your prize.

My mommy said that they performed the same kind of play in 1990 only that it was called 10 Little Indians. She built the set for it and did the props...which included the 10 Indian statues. Mommy hopes your lap-daddy does well and wishes him to break-a-leg which I think is quite mean but she says its not. Glad your staying well...Suki & QoH
