MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

CAT ART SUNDAY

You may have noticed the colorful vintage cat postcards I have been showing in my posts lately. They come from an eBay seller who does charity auctions for a Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary in North Carolina. He also has beautiful sun catchers for specially featured kitties. Their photos and stories are on the auction page. Please take a moment and visit and see all of the wonderful art and think about buying one or two of the charity postcards. 100% of the green papers goes to the blind kitties! This is a heartwarming cause I could be very passionate about. Parker told me that her mommy has three of these framed postcards in her kitchen with kitchen themed madness of course! I like the one below because it reminds mommy of the fruit cellar her Oma used to have in Germany. I think it looks like that Mayors house should in Iowa, over run by vermin!

Mommy thought this looks like Jacquie Kennedy. The kitty reminds her of Miss Minka, the blue creme Persian who came before me.
Ladies are always so well dressed in Germany when they go into town to shop. They do not wear blue jeans. Mommy never even owned a pair of blue jeans until she came to America. Now she has 3 pair! She used to wear Dirndles because she is from Bavaria, and go shopping with her wicker basket on her arm. Each day, always fresh, she would buy just what she needed for that day.
She would wear hats and gloves, not just for church. Don't you just love the smell of a card shop?!
Please click here and read the sermon Beau has prepared for us today on his new bloggy. The graphic is done by our talented Zoolatry. Have a wonderful Sunday in his shining light...

You always manage to find the nicest things to show to us. It's fun and informative at the same time. No wonder I love you :)
Today, you & your Mom should get a nice comfy seat and a nice cozy comforter and just relax together and enjoy the day and each other's company :)

Those cards are very nice. Mom was laughing at the blue jeans bit. She lives in her jeans and could not even imagine not having a pair. :)

Oh, Karla I'm sorry you are homesick! Maybe with spring and Easter coming your spirits will lift. I'm sure Miss Peach's sweet company will help. Your Minka was no doubt a beautiful kitty. Persians are so good natured. I really like the postcards you have been showing us. You know me, anything with a kitty on it! :) I hope you are able to cuddle with your mommy Peach. Your soft fur and gentle purr will give her smiles and comfort.
Love and Hugs,
Lorianna
