MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

TWO SENSES ARE BROKEN, BUT NOT OUR HEARTS<3

Here I am doing a face plant sleep in my fuzzy blue blanket...
It snowed last Sunday...this was taken by the mommy at night time. It looks so bright, but it was 4:30 in the morning. This was such pretty snow but it went away by Monday. It did leave all of it's cold here with us.
The vintage Valentine heart came from Luna in Germany. Mommy just loves it and put it in the center of her garland! We love the month of February as we celebrate the season of LOVE and all the hearts we hold dear to us.

We have five senses, seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and tasting. Mommy has two that are broken. This is not fun for her and she is sick and tired of being sick and tired! She is not happy because she can not smell her morning coffee that has an Amaretto aroma. She can't smell when my litter box needs cleaning. She can't smell if her crumpet is getting too toasty in the oven. She can't smell the shampoo in her wet hair that always puts her in a good mood. She can't smell the roses that might come on Valentine's day:) She can't smell the chocolate cake that is in the cold box. She can't taste the Belgian chocolates that might come on Valentine's day. She tends to put too much perfume on at the moment. She burned the pecan brownies last week...because she couldn't smell them!

One good thing is that since mommy can't smell if I am stinky, I do not have to get a bath so often! Yep, always a silver lining...I heard mommy say that of all the senses to be out of order, smelling and tasting are the ones. To see and hear and touch life is most important!

Oh your poor Mom... At least you're getting away with less baths Miss Peach! :) My Mummy has a friend who's lost all his sense of smell and most of his sense of taste due to a head injury - they're not fun to live without according to him... My Mummy always cooks him really interesting dinners when they get to see him, lots of textures and colours and some of the few tastes he kind of gets! :)

Ramses

Your poor mom. :( We hope she feels better soon! Sending healing purrs her way. Not having a bath is a good side effect, though.

Sometimes, not being able to smell things is a blessing. Like my Bean was farting last night and my whiskers, was that STINKEY! And not a goodness kind of stinkey either.

Purrs to your mom, I hope she feels better soon. I like your blue fuzzy blanky, it looks comfy.

Oh I would miss not being able to smell chocolate or brownies baking! I hope mommy Karla feels better by Valentine's Day. I will light a rose candle for her to encourage her sense of smell to come back. :) Miss Peach I just love the contrast of your fur against that light blue blanket. You are such a pretty kitty. Have a snuggly day with mommy and keep warm.
Love and Purrs,
Lorianna

Good Evening Sunshine!
I am sorry your Mom is still sick. Mom feels sorry to because she cannot imagine not being able to taste or smell chocolate! I will purr really hard for your Mom so she will be better by Valentines Day!!!
Mind, it's good she cannot smell you and give you a bath, heehee
You need to take your blue blankie to your Mom's bed and do a face plant next to her. Keep her cozy and warm so she gets better.
You must be rested too, for Isis's Tea party! I might hang out with Ramses :)
It looks like we will have a cold spell here.Luckily we will not get as much snow as other areas. I still wish Spring were closer.

Your poor, poor Mommy! Being all stuffed up and unable to taste or smell really is no fun at all. The kitties and I send warm hugs across the internet to her hoping that it helps her get better in time to smell her Valentine roses and taste her Valentine chocolates (no chocolates for you Miss Peach).

Hugs & purrs,
