all the way from my beloved Germany!
This will be a very special weekend for ALL of us because we are going to Leavenworth to find Christmas in a little Bavarian town. Mommy loves this little town so very much. It is an alpine town that almost died out 40 years ago before taking on the challenge of making tourism work for them. We visit here each season of the year and stay in our cozy condo with a fireplace just for me:) Lapdaddy likes the chocolate shops and the Wienerschnitzel...mommy loves the Bavarian music that plays non stop and the bakery that makes Marzipan Mozart torte! Me, well like I said, I like the fireplace:) We will leave Friday and be back Monday, so I will miss you all so much. I want you to click on the link and find the video part of the famous Christmas Lighting Ceremony and there is one of the Christkindelmarket too. The enchantment of this tiny town gets deep into your heart. This eases mommies homesickness when the red and yellow tulips bloom...when the orange oak leaves fall...when the crystalline snowflakes softly tumble down.

Oh what a wonderful weekend you'z got planned! :) That place reminded My Mummy a little of Banff and a lot of some of the places she's stayed in Austria and the mountains in Italy... Sometimes I'z fink My Mummy even misses dat snow she says she hated so much! ;) I'z purrty sure she wouldn't mind a week or so of snow as long as it didn't mean we'z gotted a long cold winter like she had in Canada! :)

We have friends who are going to Leavenworth for the long weekend around Christmas too. Maybe you will see them there. They like kitties, but are more doggy people though...

This sounds wonderful, Miss Peach! We are very happy to know that you go with mommy and lapdaddy on the trip, and a fireplace sounds warm and cozy.
The only thing you miss is the CCSI premiere tomorrow. Tonight we have the opening night on the red carpet. I was so busy with the whole production. I hope you will be one of our cast in the next show!:)

Hope you had a great time at Leavenworth. Mom said she would like to go there sometime. She has always wanted to go on a horse driven sleigh ride and hear the bells on the horses harness. Mom didn't get to see the link though. To slow for dial up. She tried. She at least got to see the town lit up before it started. So pretty. She says the closest she has seen a Bavarian or Austrian town is Solvang in So. California or Frankenmuth in Michigan. Her grandparents came from Austria-Hungary but the village now is in Serbia. Miss Peach, sure hope you enjoyed that fireplace.
