MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

SOFT AND STILL IT FALLS FROM ABOVE~~~SNOW

Winter has opened the door--

And Autumn,

Blown to the wall,

Curls against the register

and rattles secrets.
Marline Noske

Tonight the magic of the coming season has shown me a preview. A light dusting of powdery white snow has fallen upon the cozy cottage, along the crocked cobblestone walk path, over the frosted garden lights and covering the ocher colored birch leaves like a downy blanket. The garden has been put to rest...Persephone is once again the Queen of the Underworld and Demeter mourns for her daughter until she returns in the Spring. Each season brings its charm for us to embrace....welcome WINTER

Lovely post, Miss Peach. Your garden looks very beautiful with a light covering of snow. We've had a bit of snow fall here in Munich, but it's all melted.

You makes snow sound so nice Miss Peach, but after 18 yrs of living through Canadian winters My Mummy just says "snow is a four letter word!" ;)

We only have 2 seasons in Florida - Hurricane Season and Fire Season. Hurricane Season ends tomorrow and Fire Season starts on Saturday. Bean says there is also "snowbird" season and she has to renew here special snowbird hunting license.

About birthdays...there was an article in cat fancy magazine where the oldest living cat they could find as 33 years old. The runner up was 30. So you still got a ways to go.

It's all wet here mostly, so I'z can't go play in the cat run... :( I wonder what snow feels like on the paws?! Maybe I'll get to see sometime this year... :)

It's snowing here now. Sadly it means the end of going outside for us, but it does mean more fires and cuddling which is never bad.

Also, please take a peek at our Wednesday post, we finally figured out what to put in our box of life!

That is such a pretty picture of your yard all covered in snow. We had our second snowfall last night. My Mum doesn't care for snow because she doesn't like to be cold, but I like how it looks! There is nothing more soothing than watching the snow fall when you are warm and cozy inside with the ones you love.

Oh, precious Miss Peachy -- how wonderful that you have snow! I like winter, too -- snow is so lovely, and Mom loves the cooler temperatures and the snug coziness of the heat in our little house.

Such beautiful pictures, dear heart, and such lovely white roses!

And thank you so much, dear -- I will look forward to receiving your sweet package! You are so good to me. (((((((hugs))))))))

Oh, this is a wonderful post. Your garden is so beautiful with all the snow.
Here in Germany it is raining and raining and...
Last winter we had only snow for one week and not too much. Hope it will be more this winter.
With all that rain we will stay in the house to work on my window decoration and tomorrow we want "Plätzchen backen"
Your heart is on the way!

Good Evening Sunshine!!!!
Sorry to be so late.Mom was busy, but that is OK.
Your yard is so beautiful! The first soft snowfall always looks so peaceful. At least that's what Mom says,I think it looks like a blanket :)
We had a bit of snow Nov.11,but rain washed it away. Now we have what Mom calls yo-yo weather. It warms up,rains, then gets cold, warms up ,rains then gets cold.
Right now it is cloudy and should drizzle overnight then get cold Friday. I'm glad to be an indoor cat,the weather is always nice!!
You look so nice on your plaid blanket! I goes with your lovely furs :)
Stay warm Sweetie and watch Winter unfold from the warmth of your cozy home.
