Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your lifeYou were only waiting for this moment to arise
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your lifeYou were only waiting for this moment to be free
Blackbird fly, blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night
Blackbird fly, blackbird fly........
Today was a bird filled day here at the Cottage! Hundreds of bird came for a visit. They ate every dogwood berry on the three trees I have. They flew into the tall sycamore trees in the neigbors yard and chattered their hearts out before they flew away. The berries are gone and Autumn is almost over. Soon the Canada Goose will be here again for the Winter....then can the Robin Redbreast of Spring be far behind? The seasons of life roll along...live in each tiny moment and remember you are a purrrrfect cat!

Oh, it's so exciting to watch the birdies! And yes, winter is on its way, too -- us Ballicai are spending a lot of time snoozing in warm places, and especially in the warm laps of our beans. It's a very snuggly time, and I know you must be enjoying it, too!
I am working on your beautiful meme, precious sister! I hope you are continuing to feel well, and know that each and every moment you're in my thoughts and in my heart.
Much love and warm purrs and sistersnuggles from your adoring Marilyn.
Wow, you had a lot of birdies visiting! I love to watch birdies, and make a chittering sound when I see them. :) My humans (especially my dad) are huge Beatles fans, so they loved this post too, my darling sister. I hope you are doing well. :)
I will be doing your meme today (Friday). :)
You certainly did have a lot of birds visiting you. I wonder if the pair of robins who usually winter in the crabapple tree will be back this year. Birds are great fun to watch.
We have something called a Poor Man's Wil that sings in the night. Bean says "why don't you go eat that bird" cause it keeps her awake. Well, but I know allowed outside at night, how I supposed to catch it?
