MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

WHAT WAS IN THE BOX?

We did not have any luck with our tomatoes this year..
as you can plainly see here:((
Mommies friend who had lots said she would share some. She told her a box full of them was on the way to her. Mommy thought she was joking....but she was NOT!!!!
Look at these beauties I unwrapped and put in my mommies special antique bowl. It belonged to her mommy who was my bean before she went to the bridge.
Mommy cried as she smelled each precious paradise apple. She was back in Germany with her Opa. He was so proud of his little greenhouse where he grew the most wonderful tomatoes.
Friends are so special when they do things that make you have happy tears.
This box was filled with more than tomatoes...it was filled with love.

We ate them last night with dinner of Bratwurst.
Tomorrow mommy will make Wurstsalat. This is
Lapdaddies favorite. Here is how to make it:
Slice tomatoes
Slice red onions
Slice Hillshire turkey sausage
Cube an inch thick chunk of Swiss cheese
mix in a large bowl with half a bottle of Zesty Italian salad dressing
crack fresh pepper over everything
Chill in cold box
Serve with a good heavy dark rye bread
YUMMY YUMMY
Sehr Gut...vielen dank!
What makes this gift so extra special, is that this box came all the way from California, so fresh they were still cold.
In return, she asked for PEACHES...
Monty Q sent me this cute PEACHES card...
I wonder if it will do
or
if she wants me:)

THANK YOU>(^,^)<

What a thoughtful friend. I like tomatoes best when they're in a lovely sauce so they make my beard go all red and messy. Hehehe! J x

Whoa! What a fantastic present. Those tomatoes look very yummy. My Mommie likes to make salad with fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil, and olive oil and balsamic vinegar. She says it tastes good.

Those tomatoes with the salt and pepper look yummy! You have a great friend!

P.S. I followed your link from the Top 100 and it was incorrect - you had a comma where there should have been a period. Just thought you might like to know!

How wonderful to have such people in our lives and in the world, as well! I love fresh tomatoes and those look perfect! As with Momma Karla, I love sea salt and cracked pepper on mine, too.

PS: you look so cute in sitting in the box. Tell your Mommy to ship you to me while you're in there and ready to go! :)

Much Love,
Kim

Oh, those tomatoes look lovely. Tomatoes are one of my Mum's favourite things, she eats them until she gets canker sores and then she has to take a break - I don't care for tomatoes myself : )

How nice it is to have such a special friend that will send you tomatoes all the way from California.

That's a very good friend to have, one that will pack up tomatoes from California and ship them to you. My mom bean's tomatoes didn't fair so well either. But the ones on the farm where my pa bean visits everday did very well. He said they even smelled like tomatoes.

I like the peach card. My mom bean is crazy about peaches...so I guess that means she's crazy about you too. hee, hee.

Hugs...G
