To go along with her Faerie bower, Anita made this Faerie ring. They gather here at night for dancing and planning their magical visits. Notice the berry studded tree...one must always leave gifts for the faeries...they appreciate that so much. I wonder what flavor of Temptations the kitty faeries like best?
The kitty faerie below is named Zydeco. On the hunt for lightning bugs, crouching low is the way to wait for them to fly by. We need to have them to light our flights into the night. As a child, my mommy loved the story of Peter Pumpkin Eater. How cozy to live in a pumpkin. She used to make flower petal dolls and put them in the flower beds.
In my garden I have an ice crème parlor chair with the seat removed....added a pot to fit....filled it with a cottage painted rock...a bird bath and grow Irish moss all around it. It is my faerie chair and my little trolls live in it:))
One of my favorite faerie books is named "Fairyopolis" a flower fairies journal, it belongs to Cicely Mary Barker. It is a wonderful interactive altered style book...full of secret little pop outs, fold outs, books inside of books, envelopes and the most fun your imagination could have!
My mommies favorite faerie movie is "Fairy Tale: A True Story" 1997...starring Sir Peter O'Toole & Harvey Keitel. It takes place in England during WW1. It is an enchanting MUST SEE!! I like to try and catch the faeries as they fly around, but the are always too fast for my paws. I would never hurt them. It would be fun if they came and sat on the tips of my ears. My frootbats are big enough:)

Who is this bright blue eyed beauty? I have never seen her before. Some faeries do not have names. What should we name her?

I wonder if the Meezer Faerie is little TARA? I asked her...we have to wait and see what she says:)
Oh Miss Peach we love the photos of you with the gauze veil material. You look like a (child) bride!
Speaking of young love, Sadie may have a special friend. And in old love, Willie does too. Wow. What are we going to do with Bianca?
There were many wee sounds outside our window last night. I stole a peak at the dancing ring and though I didn't see any fairies, I felt they were there. And I know our sweet Zydeco was watching them, as she always loved to be part of all festivities. Thank-you, Miss Peach, for helping me to remember.
Mom and dad love faerie stories too...Dad's Irish, and named me after the Irish Tara (the hill of the Kings, and the Goddess).
I like the idea of being a faerie too! I could go around and visit my friends in their sleep! Hmm...maybe that is me...
Tara
you look beautiful, peach! we love the faerie stories...and we're sure that they play on the greens of the golf course during the night. sometimes, when mom leaves the slider open (we're on the second floor, so it's safe), we can hear them. they have lots of fun!
aw, what a pretty faerie kitty. I like the faerie kitties you put up, especially the black one. I think I saw some Faeries blinking little lights last night from my window.
You look very pretty in that fabric Miss Peach. Dainty girl cats like you should lay on soft dainty fabric.
I love the Faerie ring! It looks like the perfect place for faerie visits. I think the kitty faeries like chicken Temptations the best.
Miss Peach, your photos are lovely - I would think dairy temptations would be great for the kitty fairies!
Oh... we really love these fairie stories. Very nice pictures and that meezer does look like Tara.
Happy day sweetie friend
Wowzers, that does look like Tara, but it reminds me of Casey too...
Come over to my blog! :D
What beautiful fairy stories. And the little kitty fairy with no name looks like my little brother MaoMao! *giggle*
You look so beautiful reclining on that gauze, dear Peachy!
Purrs and snuggles from your loving sister,
Marilyn.
Miss Peach I love your Faerie Tales! You look simply fantastic in the pictures!
I think you should name her Priscilla! She looks like a princess.
Kittie faeries, how beautiful. You look very faerie like laying in the middle of the toole on your bed.
