 I put down the floor pad to take the cover off for the laundry...and right away Miss Hunny Bunny came to see what it was all about...who might be coming soon?  She is such a sweet tender girl cat...she loves her boys and can't wait till they get here...

Wishing you all a most blessed Resurrection Day...this Easter Sunday is so special to all of us.  Our HOPE is alive in Christ Jesus who redeemed us by his precious blood.  Two pieces of wood built a bridge to heaven for all of us...one fine day we will all be together with those who went on before us.

I AM ON GUARD DUTY!!!

 On a pretty warm spring day my Lapdaddy sometimes like to lay down and take a nap on our patio lounger...I decided to sit and guard him from the backyard cats.  Even though we are inside the screened patio...sometimes they come awful close.  Does this mean that I might be a little bit jealous?  See my funny fuzzy legs...I am a silly little cat...

OH NO! I AM CHANGING!!!

 Just look at me kitties!  See my little ratty tail and my jelly bean paws?  I am also starting to grow baby soft wavy fuzzy furs!  Maybe if I try real hard, I can grow a marshmallow puffy coat like Miss Hunny Bunny...what do you think of this hairy situation?

I think Hope is out of her mind....she will never have a coat such as mine!

CAT ARE SO CONSIDERATE............

Both of my girls would do this for me...everyday I have to go on barf hunt...I have resigned myself to not get an new carpets put in our little cottage and just have the steam cleaner come in once in awhile.  Naughty little barf bags are lucky they are so darn cute...."just sayin"

JUST ANOTHER SLEEPY SUNDAY...

The weather has been so nice this week that our Lapdaddy had some patio time with a good cuppa coffee.  He is continuing to heal well, sleep better at night and need fewer pain meds!  YEAH!!! It is good to sit and let the sunshine puddle on your face while you snooze...it is still too chilly for me Miss Hope to go out there because I am nakked of course...but Miss Hunny Bunny loves to be outside because she has a built in fur coat.  So we do our snoozing in the house.  It's a good thing...sleep helps heal away the chaos of life.  So lets begin...

HAPPY TO BE HOME AND RESTING WELL.....

Oh my what a week it has been...our Lapdaddy so very glad to be home.  The spinal surgery went very well but it took some time to get the pain under control.  Each day brought improvement...much rest helped a great deal and the good care from the hospital staff.  Mommy brought him fresh coffee from home each day and we sent along our best purrrrs and all of your good wishes.  To be able to walk without pain is such a blessing...like a rebirth.  We have a bucket of pain pills and big bandages...mommy is learning to be a good nurse.

We are so so so very blessed.    The weather has been so nice that we might be able to sit on our patio and have coffee...happy Sunday to all of you!

Once again we are asking for your purrrrrayers for our Lapdaddy...

Dearest friends...it has been many months now since our Lapdaddy had his back surgery.  We are here once again asking for your special kitty purrrrayers for our sweet Lapdaddy.  He will be having another spinal surgery this Monday and will be in hospital for a few days after.  Much hardware will be holding together his lower spine and we are so full of HOPE that this time it will be a complete success and the pain will go away.  So many of you live with chronic pain...it is a dreadful robber of quality of life...our Lapdaddy has been hurting for years and has soldiered on like a champion.  Now we are so happy to have a chance to get pain banished in his life...purrrrr hard for him...we love you for it!

FOREVER....

The theme for February's one word ATC was FOREVER...this beautiful wooden ATC was a gift from mommies friend Connie.  She sent it to us because she knew how much we loved kitties at the cozy cottage.  These are the best gifts, the ones that arrive because the giver knows what is important to your heart.  I am so lucky to have found my FOREVER home here at the cozy cottage so many years ago.  I arrived with my three little kittens and found sanctuary...safety from the storms of life as a feral mom cat.  A Cinderella story I wish every homeless cat would be able to star in.  A happily FOREVER after story...

17 DAYS OF OLYMPIC FEVER...

We has a wonderful time watching all of the events...our favorite moment was when the cross country skier tried to carry on the race with his broken ski..then out of no where a coach from another country came running down the hill and gave him a ski, helped him get it on his foot and then he was able to continue the race!  That is what the Olympic spirit is all about in our minds and hearts!  Bravo sportsmanship!  This evening I watched our gold medal skaters delight us with their fun skate...

 For your last Olympic event...can you count all the kitties up in this picture?  The beautiful miniature Japanese tea cup was a sweet Valentine's gift from mommies friend Desert Rose...we love the kitty inside the moss because it reminds us of Junior Baby, don't you think so mommy Rhonda?  We wish you all a most wonderful Sunday...warm and sunny!

OLYMPIC EVENT...STAYING WARM!

 Well there have been some amazing moments at the winter games and some very sad ones also.  So here I am today trying for gold once again....my event is "heating pad sitting!"  Hey mommy!!!!!  Is this thing turned on???!!!  Hurry up because my paws are cold...

A MEW OLYMPIC COMPETITION...I MIGHT HAVE THE GOLD MEDAL!

Kitties it is cold outside the cozy cottage because old man winter has finally arrived...he brought us 5 inches of snow...now he wants to give us 6 more during the night!  I think it is much better to sit on Lapdaddy's warm armchair after a nice workout...what are you doing this fine day? Almost forgot to say that the thingie is a scalp massage gadget that mommy bought everyone for Christmas...no one cared for them except MEow!!!!  I demand my time with it several times a day...

GET THE SKITTLES READY BECAUSE A BIG STORM IS BREWING!!!

Today it will be the unstoppable verses the unbeatable in Met Life Stadium.  We purrrr for a good clean close game with fine sportsmanship to make the sport proud...no matter who wins...but the Seahawks are a Cinderella story this season and how fine it would be to have a happy ending.

ONCE UPON A LITTLE PEACHY CAT...

 This Sunday I wanted to share some of the sweet memories of my little peachy Miss Peach.  She warmed our hearts and the cozy cottage for over nine years with her quirky purrrrsonality...we miss her so.  Kitties come and go through our lives, homes, gardens and hearts.  We have the privilege of being a part of their lives.  Wishing you all a very happy Sunday...

 Time to grab a quick mouthfull of kibbies and get into the box seat at Century Link stadium!  I always watch my team play and today will be very special...we want to be on the road to the SUPERBOWL...heck we WILL be on that road!  It will be a rough game...

A LOVELY JANUARY DAY...

I do not know what more to say other than it is a lovely quiet day at the cozy cottage...we look forward to this mellow time of the year when all is still and the ground is sleeping.  I found a small sun puddle to curl up on and enjoy the afternoon....ah the stuff of dreams...oh and mommy found this pretty wallpaper with a sweet kitty on it in her favorite color gray....YEAH!!!

A HAPPY MEW YEAR TO ALL.....

We are almost two weeks into the mew year.....and guess what?  We still have our Christmas tree UP!!!  I think it is because mommy knows how much I love it....but I think she is really just too lazy to take it down.  It is good to keep the Christmas spirit all year long....but hey...Valentine's day is coming soon.  Maybe mommy will hang hearts on the tree....who knows?  There is plenty of room because we ate all the cookies and the chocolate ornaments!

 Miss Hunny Bunny loves HER boy and always comes when he calls her...

Miss Hope loves him too and takes over whenever she wants to!  We have been blessed by a quiet reflective season full of good foodies and some wonderful old movies on TCM.  Most of all our Lapdaddy is walking without his walker or cane...that is the best BLESSING from our precious Lord!  Wishing you all a safe and peaceful time between the years...2013}}}}}}}}}}}}}}2014
