MY WEDDING DAY!

NERVOUS NERVOUS NERVOUS.....

ONE MORE DAY and I can't sit still for a minute! I even fell off the back of the sofa yesterday all wrapped up in my lacy wedding blanket. I stuff myself inside of it like a taco and just rolled over...and plop, down I went. Oh I am fine, because we have soft carpets, but mommy shook her head and said I am a silly girl. I was dreaming about all of those last minute details I still need to attend too for my wedding with Mickey at the lighthouse on Halloween. Life it seems goes in waves...sometime you ride high and other times you are down in the valley of darkness. There has been so much sadness on the Cat Blogopshere this year. I really hope and purrrray that our wedding will make you smile and gladden your heart...thank you for being our friends...we love you!

THREE MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry we have not been visiting much of late. We are so busy getting Cole to feel better. I love having him here with me because he has been geting better a little bit. Yesterday was a very good day for him. Also, he is helping me with all the last minute wedding deatils. He has a great sense of style, and an eye for color combinations. He composed the colored margins & frame in the photo you see above! Mickey designed the graphic. Thank you for all your love....

MY BEST FRIEND COLE IS COMING....

Thank you all so very much for purrrring for my Cole. He is home from the hospital, but got sick twice since then. He is coming to stay with me today and hope he can spend the night too. This is what I did with him last week. I love him. He is still sick and we are very concerned about it. He is definitely NOT a wimpy kid!!! Bad bugs just sux because they will not stop making a war in his tummy!

MY COLE IS FEELING BETTER!!!!

Thank you all so very much for thinking about us, your purrrrrayers and your many nice visits. Cole is slowly getting better and we hope he can come home tomorrow if he can keep his food down. But with a Boston Red Sox baseball cap and a Seattle Seahawks football and soccer and basketball on the TV, his time will be well spent. He is excited to read all of your nice comments, and I can't wait to sit in his lap again next week!

Dear kitties...my grandkidbean Cole is in the hospital. He is very sick with severe stomach pain and cramping. He was on Auntiebiotiks two weeks ago and that messed up his delicate tummy flora. Now the bad bugs keep multiplying because the good bugs got too deaded and the balance is very messed up. We can not bare to see him in so much pain. He is hungry but can't keep his foods down. I just want him to come back home so I can sit on his lap and make him all better with my purrrs. I know you can work miracles with your long distance purrring. Cole knows so many of you because I tell him all about my adventures...please purrrr real hard for him to get better!

CAT ART SUNDAY IN A PARTY MOOD!!!

I want to start having some fun on the eve of my Bridal Cat Tea and Spa Party so I have posted the invitation! I do hope you can pop over and have some fun with me this week. Here are some cute and sweet Halloween treats that came into my mailbox this week for the purrrrfect Cat Art Sunday. The adorable little girl ATC was made by MWS Sherry Letchford. These cards are from mommies cat card club CCCC. Rubberclaws made the black kitty and Annika sent the witches hat all the way from Sweden!

TODAY IS NATIONAL FERAL CAT DAY!!!

On this special day I would like to honor my dear Lapdaddy for his creativity and his loving heart with the 'Kreativ Blogger Award' I got from Jill last week.

Many of us have been touched by stories of feral kitties. Some of us have been chosen as caregivers after our hearts have been melted by those hungry eyes. The cozy cottage is no exception when Miss Hunny Bunny showed up last summer with three of her tiny kittens. Mr. Buddy added himself to the family at the same time, so we assume he is the daddy. We took to Hunny Bunny right away because of her incredible beauty and her trusting nature. The kittens and parents were then spayed and neutered, except the Elusive kitten who got away. One day we hope it will come to trust us too so we can help it. We do not know if it is a boy or girl cat. This summer a new face showed up in the garden with two little black kittens. Miss Scrappy Cat, who has no manners at all and is ALL attitude! So what do you do when you are chosen? Being an only cat, I do not like to share my beans with anyone else but mommy and Lapdaddy said we have to be kind to those who wander through our lives asking for help. So I agreed that Lapdaddy could build a large cat shelter with three condo's in it so they could be warm and safe this winter. It is completely lined with 2 inch Styrofoam all around the inside and then puffed up high with fine clean straw so the kitties can burrow inside and make a cozy nest. Our garden has been certified a Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary and we strive to earn that honor. Food, shelter, protection and love are waiting....these are the spices of life we all need. We love you Lapdaddy for spicing up our lives!

Mommy here, "OK that is the title that Miss Peach typed in while I was fixing her dinner for her. I don't know what she was trying to tell you, but maybe one of you can read catspell? Maybe she was telling you about the 'Bridal Cat Tea and Spa Day' I am going to host for her next Monday on the special wedding blog I made for her and Mickey? There will be more details to follow but since she let the cat out of the bag, please consider yourself invited!" Miss Peach here, "It has been raining here in the high desert for two days now and we welcome it but not the cold that comes along. So far we have not had a nice warm autumn at all! No Indian Summer! I am not ready to come inside yet but it is too chill in the auntieroom now. All I want to do is sit in my Lapdaddy's lap under the nice warm fleecy. That works out fine while he is reading his book. Things don't go my way when the laptop computer comes out and I get bonked in the head with it. Mommy said I should find a proper sleeping spot, but I don't care for all her choices...laps are just best, and frying pans, daisy planters, paper bags, boxes, litter boxes, armchair pouches, in boxes, dryers, laundry baskets, suitcases, but laps are best!"
