Please purrrr, purrray and keep us all in your thoughts from now on. I came back from my trip to find my darling little ginger girl has taken a turn for the road we never want to travel down....Miss Peach is not eating anymore and drinking very little. Baby food will not even tempt her. I put down my suitcase, cuddled her in my tearful arms and she gave me headbunks...
I drew her a warm bath to clean her matted furs and she didn't even protest with her little meowz like before.
We snuggled together in front of the fireplace all evening and I wanted to bring her to my bed, but she didn't want to move. I got my pillow and a blanket and lay down next to her on the floor to keep her company until four...then I came back in again at nine to do the same. SO many nights we shared my bed as she purrrrred comfort to me while she lay in the crook of my arms under the down comforter. I just had to lay down with her this time to return the comfort.
This morning she tried to jump up on the counter....and for the first time she fell back down, being to weak to do what came so easy just weeks ago.....I am just heartbroken knowing what the journey down this road will hold for us in the next precious moments of time...
Please think of us...I love you all so...
Miss Peach and her sad mommy and Lapdaddy
Update~2:30
Peach drank lots of water from her fountain and is curled up asleep infront of the fireplace on her fuzzy blue blanket now. When she ran in from the kitchen, I heard the water slushing in her belly...oh dear me...I am crying buckets. Thank you for being with me during this...you can only imagine how much I love and need you all right now. Karla
