Germany felt the sting of the cold war warm up in his smile. I still have the 1965 silver dollar with his handsome image, I treasure it. I have stood at his grave and wondered why this had to be... An Unfinished Life... for some reason the full title of my tribute portait would not post, I tried 4 times... thank you for all that you gave to our world... |
I wasn't around when he died, but have read lots of books about JFK. It is good that so many people are remembering the good things that he did.

I've never read that quote from Jackie; it's powerful and heart wrenching.

ReplyDeleteMama was 4 yrs old, watching TV with her mama when they got the sad news. She remembers her mama crying & how scary all that felt. It was a very tragic day.
