So many wonderful gifts of love have come to comfort me at the cozy cottage this week...I will show you each one as days go by. Today you see the wonderful teddy bear from my friend Lorian Baker...he came with the sweetest card on glittery angel wings to bring tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. You see, Lorian collects teddy bears and I just know that this one came from her purrsonal collection. He is a very special bear because he comes from my homeland West Germany and he is very old. I bet she even bought him there too! How kind must a heart be to give over a beloved stuffy to soothe away the ache in someone's empty arms...I say off the scale kind because I now hold the fuzzy bear to my cheek and am thankful for my precious friend!
That is a sweet and touching gift. How wonderful.
ReplyDeleteTHat is very touching. Treasure friends and bears like her!
ReplyDeleteYes, what a loving gift...I know it must bring you great consolation.
ReplyDeleteGiving something you love is the best gift of all. She's obviously a wonderful friend. We're glad you are being comforted.

ReplyDeleteBig big hugs,
Lorraine
That is indeed a special gift! When Meowm went to Germany she purchased two bears from Steiff! She knows how special they are! And to give you one from her own collection is extremely special indeed! We can't wait to see the other little gifts! ((Hugs))

What a sweet teddy bear from a precious friend. He looks so cuddly, too. I'm so glad the kitty chime arrived safely. It reminded me so much of the one you had on Peachy's blog.
ReplyDeleteHoney Bunny we know you are doing a good job at the cottage, and Miss Peach is watching you from above.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! We are still sending sweet, soft purrs your way. xoxo

That is so kind and loving! Teddy Bears are all love, and that one so special. It makes our hearts so happy you have such a sensitive and caring friend like that. It's exactly what you need. We appreciate you sharing your treasures with us. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you, sweet Miss Hunny Bunny, for our tea. We always look forward to it and our visits here.
(((hugs))) to everybody.
Karla,
ReplyDeleteWe just read your note on Mo's blog about the Kitten he has taken in.
Is there a TNR (trap, neuter, return) program near you? They should be able to help defray the costs of the surgeries on the cats. We certainly hope there is some help in your area. Meowm would have never been able to do the 12 she did without help from No More Homeless Pets. Also check for a spay and neuter clinic in your area, they should have reduced charges.
Meowm Rhonda, Junior, Orion and possibly Sammy.
A stuffie Teddy is a treasure to behold -- and you can wrestle with it too .... if you want.
ReplyDeleteNow you know just how much you are loved.
