UPDATE~2:30 Miss Peach has been sleeping well most of the day on her blue fuzzy. I put a heated pad under it to keep her warm. I carried her to the litter box because she was so wobbley on her little legs. We did have a little pee and then drank lots of water at the fountain. However, not even butter could tempt her today. She seems to be such a strong kitty, not complaining at all and comforting me with headbunks and rubs my tears off my cheeks. How can I be so weak and selfish and she be so in control of herself during this time. What a lesson can be learned from our beloved furs! My heart is so comforted by your many wishes that you leave here for us...I treasure each and everyone of you so much...those I know..... and those kind strangers who just come to drop off love for a sad human being and her mighty fine cat on a journey we find hard to make.
Today we stayed real close to each other. Mommy and me. All of YOUR loving hearts with your purrrrs and purrrrayers comforting our restful moments. Thank you for being with us today. Nothing is finer than the love of a friend.
Please keep the animals suffering from the wrath of California's fires in your thoughts. We are so lucky to be safe.....sad, but safe.
