I GOT A NEW MOUSIE!!!!

Oh my gosh am I ever having fun!  Just a quick lick to get my self in proper shape for a mouse hunt!
I really do like my new squeeeeeeky mousie...it is still fun for an older girlcat like me to run and play.  It is dreadfully hot here in the desert at the cozy cottage, almost 112* these days.  Mommy yearns for autumn to come quick...but we have not even harvested the first tomatoes and cucumbers yet.  Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday staying cool and happy.

  1. Oh boy! We can see how much fun you are having with that mousie!
Guess that will help you keep your nice figure ;)
If you like, you can send a little heat our way.
It is a little cool some days :/

  2. Happy Sunday, Cozy Cottage residents! We will trade some cool, rainy weather for some of your heat. Our wonderful Portuguese Festival is being rained out today along with the Blessing of the Fleet.

That new mouse sure looks like fun. Enjoy!!

  3. What a pawsome mousie, Miss Hope! The ones that make noise are the best :)

We had a brief respite of the heat for a couple days. Unfortunately, we're back in the high 90's. Home-grown tomatoes sound wonderful!

  4. We have a squeaky mousie like that here - my human always knows when one of us is playing with it. Weirdly, it has not been as hot here in southern California as it has been for you guys up north!

  6. Boy, that mousie sure looked real. You are a good mouser, Miss Hope. Mommy won't have to worry if one should ever sneak into the Cozy Cottage.
