The theme for February's one word ATC was FOREVER...this beautiful wooden ATC was a gift from mommies friend Connie. She sent it to us because she knew how much we loved kitties at the cozy cottage. These are the best gifts, the ones that arrive because the giver knows what is important to your heart. I am so lucky to have found my FOREVER home here at the cozy cottage so many years ago. I arrived with my three little kittens and found sanctuary...safety from the storms of life as a feral mom cat. A Cinderella story I wish every homeless cat would be able to star in. A happily FOREVER after story...
Happy Sunday to all at the Cozy Cottage. What a lovely photo. We do wish a safe forever home for all of t he needy cats and dogs. Thank-you , Karla, for doing what you can.

I wish the same for every homeless kitty as you, Hunny Bunny!
ReplyDeleteHunny Bunny, you found your angel. I remember your 3 babies and how well you took care of them. You could not have found a better home. Thank you, Karla.
ReplyDeleteWE are happy that you found your forever home at the cozy cottage.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Our mom remembers when you showed up at the cozy cottage. You knew where to go.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet story. As a cat rescue volunteer for several years it broke my heart not to be able to find homes for all the ferals we captured and had spayed or neutered and vaccinated, and other needed health care. That's why I have 6 resident cats LOL.
ReplyDeleteI still feed several ferals and part-ferals and shelter them outdoors. Some I've rescued and returned; others have just appeared. But two mean neighbors on my street make me fear for the lives of my feral fur balls. Life is tough "out on the road" and I'm glad you found such a wonderful forever home as the Cozy Cottage Hunny Bunny. You are indeed a lucky gal.
Hugs, pets and purrs,
Lorraine
So similar to our Zolies story! She brought litter after litter to our house and mom caught them all and got them safely to the shelter. Then she got Zolie spayed, but she is still too feral but is safe and sheltered in the garage. You are so beautiful Hunny....we rejoice in your good fortune at the Cosy Cottage!
