THE ADVENT OF THE FIRST ADVENT!

Today is the first advent Sunday...we will light our first candle and count the blessings we so richly have but do not deserve.  We kitties will sit with our Lapdaddy as he watches football  after they come home from church...mommy will fix the coffee and have some pumpkin pie!
This always helps usher in the December month...a few lines of the musings of one of our favorite poems by AE Houseman

The night is freezing fast,
Tomorrow comes December;
