Dear friends....I have been having some sad days...next month will be the first anniversary of my beloved Miss Peach leaving us for the rainbow bridge. My arms ache to hold her...Lapdaddy aches to have her on his lap. We have HOPE that one day we will be together again...until then...we remember how it was...warm and sweet. I know you understand how we feel...you are our beloved friends who carry us along on these days...thank you for your treasured friendships and visits...
We understand how you feel. Yesterday would have been Sniffie's 14th birthday. We miss her so much.

Peach will always live in the hearts of those who loved her. Hold her memories close but remember to embrace each wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteYes I certainly understand how you and Lapdaddy feel Karla. It is a visceral feeling -- needing and wanting to feel Ms. Peach. I was that way for a long long time after I lost Topaz and then Tucker Boone. I can remember exactly how their fur felt -- very different from each other -- but the feeling of their fur under my hand has never gone away.
ReplyDeleteSending you both loving hugs and purrs as this anniversary approaches and for all the days ahead until you are all reunited again.
For now just love Hunny a little extra and hug each other.

It is so hard to lose a beloved pet. We never quite get over the loss. Miss Peach would want you to be happy until you meet again. Purrs and hugs to you, Lapdaddy and Hunny Bunny.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel and I feel with you!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of purrs and hugs
Miss Peach was a very special cat. Gentle head bumpies and very special purrs for all of you.
ReplyDeleteDear Karla and Lapdaddy, we do indeed understand how you feel. We miss seeing the delightful Miss Peach too.
ReplyDeleteWith her passing and our Mickey's passing, it feels like an era has passed.
The hurt will become less sharp, but will always be there.Knowing we will see our loved ones again makes the day to day life here bearable.
We must count our blessings and the ones yet to come.
Remember Miss Peach, but enjoy the present because it is a gift :)
Hugs Nancy

ReplyDeleteAfter Kelly died, you left a comment that was a great comfort. We want to do the same, but instead of writing, we just point to all those who have written here tonight to try to say they understand and give you the same measure of comfort.
