HOLDING ON TO A THREAD...THE PRICE OF LOVE MUST BE PAID IN HEARTACHE...

Still resting all the time now...eating a little bit and waiting... My beautiful Miss Hunny Bunny wonders why my sweet Miss Peach does not hiss and chase her around anymore...

    Hunny Bunny is and will be a comfort in the days ahead. It is so difficult to let go but for cats and dogs it is much more natural than we as adults do it. My heartfelt thoughts are with you all.

    It is hardest of all for those of us left behind, and a gentle passing is honorable. I just helped a friend through 3 weeks of palliative care with her 17 year old Sphynx. She had a housecall veterinarian come to her house and it was a compassionate gift she gave to sweet Slick, to say goodbye even though she was not ready...he was. And yes, Hunny Bunny's presence will help soften your sadness when that time comes, as my friends 2 kitties are doing for her now...
