    My dear Miss Peach,

    I had such a wonderful time at the bridal shower. Although my Mommy forgot about this momentous event (her older sister from out-of-town was visiting) I would never forget such a wondrous party!

    When I think back to days before I lost my eyesight, I remember clearly your beautiful soft orange striped furs. Your Mommy has made such a cozy cottage for you and for your beloved Mickey.

    You are a very lucky girl-cat to have your Mommy. She showers you with love and attention. My mommy is more forgetful, but she does kiss my ears almost every night and feeds me tidbits from her plate.

    I hope that you will forgive me the loss of my typist yesterday. I could not travel up to the computer room because I can't remember how to navigate those ratted stairs. Delilah and Iris and Dr Tweety race up and down them as if their lives depended on it. Thank goodness all I have to do is nap! But it can be highly annoying when I have a special event to attend, and no one is available to help me.

    I am sending you glorious wishes for the most beautiful wedding ever, and in my mind's eye, I see you and your beloved Mickey walking paw in paw down the aisle with all of your many friends in attendance.
