So this is how mommy keeps me cool. She wets her hands real good and then pets me a whole bunch. Then I lay in front of the fan and it feels so cool on my Geri curl furs...A Devon Rex kitty does not have much furs to begin with and I have less than most being a senior kitty. If I were a dog, then I would say these are the dog days of summer.
OK mommy, that's enough water...
Now just let me rest and enjoy the coolness...

Oh Miss Peach,I just now thought of a Human,who you remind me of, the way you look, so regal & lying there being fanned & carried around & served gourmet meals and all--"Celine Dion",- at her wedding! We had her music playing in the background of our wedding video too!

ReplyDeleteTruthfully, I love being kind of wet, it does feel good on my curls, I am more furry than you Peachiepuffkins but you seem to have a bit more .... meat on your bones. You are absolutely adorable and lovely and beautiful.

Oh Miss Peach! I am so sorry you are so wet. The Woman did that to us a little bit. She'd take an icepack from the freezer and run it along our side until we got a little wet and then we'd lie there and snooze for awhile. I am glad the heat has passed but I hope it leaves you as well and soon!
ReplyDeleteOh that is such a good idea - I wish I had thought of that when our power went out and it was so hot (we had some nice battery operated fans) about a month ago. I was worried the kitties would get to hot - now I know for the future! Thanks for the tip! I hope you are able to stay cool today!

Miss Peach, you and your mommy were busy little elves last week! Brian got his package and was THRILLED to get mail and loves the rock and dressage horse and rider. He will be writing a proper thank-you note soon, but I wanted to let you know it arrived and BOTH of us were touched.
