MISS PEACH'S COZY COTTAGE

Welcome to the COZY COTTAGE. This is the furever home of the memory of Miss Peach, our 18 year old Devon Rex angel kitty. I am Miss Hunny Bunny, she asked me to pour you a cuppa catmint tea as you read our old fashion mewsings about this and that. Please come by often...one lump or two? Now our precious Hunny Bunny is also an angel cat...please let me be your hostess at the cozy cottage...my name is Miss Hope.

Remember...only in our tomorrows will we realize what we had in our yesterdays.

HELP...WE CAN NOT DECIDE!!

Hunny Bunny wants this one....mommy and Lapdaddy like it too. I don't like it but at least we are on the same row. The color is called Snowy Alps and reminds mommy too much of home to even consider my choice.....hummmmpf that makes me crabilated a little bit! Mommy needs lots of tranquilizers to finalize the selection and order the carpet installers...she has been planning to do this for 17 years now. Do you think she will finally do it?

Meet my newest friend! Well how precious is this little kitten!!! He belongs to Miss Diana who rescued and gave me to mommy so many years ago. Only four weeks old and already cute as a button! Look at those fruitbats!!! conCATulations dear Diana on all your beautiful babies...
Over the top cute! Mommy nearly fainted when she saw these pictures:)
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. It will be crazy busy at the cozy cottage finishing up the remodel of the bathroom...at least that didn't take 17 years...

A PURRRRRFECT SURPRISE!

What a wonderful wedding anniversary surprise Lapdaddy kept secret for months! He planned a river cruise on a Sternwheeler for mommy. You see on their first date, they went on a harbor cruise in Newport Oregon on the Belle of Newport. It was a beautiful day they will always remember. Lapdaddy is romantic....mommy was so happy! A purrrrrfect relaxing day.
With the ship's Captain before we left the dock...
A loving self portrait...Happy Annibirthery!
The massive wooden wheel pushes the ship through the water...
Burgundy beef and roast pork...so yummy for the tummy
This is the new Lighthouse that was built on Cedar Island in Pasco...those are wind turbines up on the hill.
Approaching the famous Blue Bridge in Pasco spanning the mighty Columbia River. After five hours traveling the river, the winds lead us back home.
We wish you could have come along...it would have been a purrrrfectly wonderful day for you. We will show you more of the adventure in the next post...

CHAOS AT THE COZY COTTAGE..a little bit anyway

Miss Anita sent this beautiful iris folded Lighthouse card for the beans' special day last week. The colors are so purrrrfectly selected...salty gray mist and blue breezes...an alge covered rock and a bright light leading us safely home through any storm...thank you Anita for always remembering our special day....You can see more of Miss Anita's Paper Arts by clicking this link... These are some of your clues to what Lapdaddy surprised mommy with on their annibirthary day last week. She loved her wonderful day spent with Lapdaddy...we will show and tell you more all this week. Can any of you guess what they did?
A lighthouse was built on the Columbia River...we hope to climb the stairs soon.
OK ....enough clues...on with the chaos
Do you notice anything wrong with this picture? Like the crooked mirror and paper towels flying all over the place, the crumpled orange fleecy and those dumb bunnies all pushed into the corner??
Yes that is the scope of redecorating I have done on top of the fireplace mantle...out of the litter box and up on top of mommies best spot in the front parlor.
I think I might join the Harri Krishmeow's....don' t they wear orange robes?
I am driving mommy a little bit more crazy each day (short trip someday's:) She has a bad ouchie on her elbow thing...something the doctor calls tendoneyetiss. She has to eat horse pills and keep this arm strangle thing on for a few weeks. Not good timing for her because she is left handed and has to paint her bathroom beadboards. 'Polished Ivory' is the awesome creme colored paint Cole picked. Lapdaddy is fixing the broken marble tiles on the floor in there. It is a messy mess but will look beautiful soon. Mommy can't stand messes because of something she calls OCD....are there pills for that? I hope you forgive us for not visiting much because of all the chaos around the cottage right now...we follow all of your posts in our reader so we never miss what you are up to.

CAT ART SUNDAY CRAZY CAT COLLAGE!!!

Recognize anyone in the stamps below?
I hope you have fun looking at all the crazy kitties in my collage above. If you click on it...you can go to the webpage and learn how to design your own layouts in art, fashion or interior design. It is the greatest fun and one of the reasons mommy doesn't get anything done around the cozy cottage....she is way to busy playing there....while we go hungry, Lapdaddy is out of clean BVD's, the dust bunnies take over the cozy cottage and the weeds invade the garden! So we wish to share the fine and pleasant misery. Show us what you make...shopping has never be easier...this is one place where dreams are free! Happy Sunday...

I AM PUTTING MY PAW DOWN TODAY WITH CLAWS!!!!

Today it will be all about love and ME! Cole and me...true love!
Ellie and Harley...true love! Our beautiful grandbean Ellie...she fell in love with me and I with her. You know my best grandbean Cole and he loves me more than any kid ever. He is sweet and gentle with me and always lets me sit in his lap. Because of great shared love...Ellie has a Devon Rex kitty of her very own. He is 4 months old and his name is Harley. I am a good ambassador for my breed...that makes me so proud!
Sorry but I just had to put my paw down today! Mommy has been taking up too much of my blog space with her stuff. She had plans to tell you all about her anniversary adventure today, but that must wait because I wanted MY pictures here today with my sweet grandbeans who love me so much. Miss Jan from the Funny Farm is having a photo contest. Monday, April 26 is National Kids and Pet Day and they are helping Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul encourageing you to celebrate pets and their importance in the lives of their humans, especially children. HAPPY ANNIBIRTHERY MOMMY AND DADDY!

April 19,1996
Yaquina Bay Lighthouse in Newport Oregon
It was a purrrrrfect little Victorian wedding ceremony...

Fourteen years of married bliss are celebrated today...it is also Lapdaddy's birthday today. He got mommy for his birthday one year and he can never forget it now! She is going nuts trying to figure out what he has planned for tomorrow's excursion...all she knows is that she will get to eat twice! What kind of clue is that? She doesn't even know what to plan on wearing...how can she be well prepurrrred for this with a purrrrrfect outfit if she does not know where she is going! We are not sure about surprises!

CAT ART SUNDAY

A vintage German scrap image begins our cat art Sunday today... This pretty collage came from an artist on a website we found last week. You can create your own layouts. That means anyone can be an artist if you know how to click and drag images.

This is mommies collage below...she needs to work a little harder at it...but she is having lots of fun playing around with it...you can click the collage and it will take you to her page on the POLYVORE website...have fun playing!!Gather those you love best and hold them close....

Tomorrow we will show you what Lapdaddy made for us this weekend...mommy just loves it!! Tomorrow is a most important day because it will be Lapdaddies birthday AND his and mommies wedding anniversary! Something very special is planned for mommy and she doesn't even know what it is...that means it is a surprise! Oh Auntie Deb knows, but she's not spilling the beans. A secret and a surprise...hmmmm what could it be...we have no clue.

SHADOW CAT...

Please turn off the flashy box mommy!!! OK Peachy, but the pictures will be dark and fuzzy...
Just do the best you can mommy...
The flashy thing hurts my eyes...
I like it in the dark...
